CareerBubble

Merushri Baboota runs CareerBubble, a career counselling practice in Chandigarh, on her own. Her website grew from a template page into a platform she runs herself, and we design posts for her Instagram.

01 the question

the question

what does a one-person counselling practice need once a brochure site stops being enough?

02 the brief

the brief

Move the site off Webflow into custom code, with high-quality animation and a dashboard and internal tools built in.

the brief, as we wrote it down

Her Webflow site was a clean, warm brochure. It had no accounts, kept no data and did nothing interactive: bookings went to a scheduling link and payments to payment links.

We rebuilt it in code, so the site could route people, run the tests itself and keep a client's work in one place.

03 what the platform does

what she runs now

  1. June 2026

    for every visitor

Pages for students, professionals and founders, each with its own path.

  2. June 2026

    a free clarity check

Three minutes of questions that build a personal dashboard.

  3. June 2026

    the full assessment

The complete psychometric test, debriefed by her one to one.

  4. August 2026

    her own admin

Every page, program and form is hers to edit. Contacts, bookings and enrolments in one place.

  5. August 2026

    a client portal

Sign-in for clients, with bookings and payments recorded.

  6. August 2026

    her accounts

Her data lives in accounts she owns, not ours.

04 what we made

what we made

three versions of one site

same practice, three websites

The 2025 page from a website builder: 'Elevate Your Career Journey' on black.
2025A template page from a website builder.
The Webflow site: 'I guide individuals to grow with clarity', with Merushri's portrait.
2025–26A good brochure on Webflow: booking and payment links, nothing more.
The platform we built: a dark hero of photos and clips of Merushri at work.
2026 · what we builtA platform she runs herself.

built on her own sketches

she had already drawn it

Merushri had prototyped a clarity score, an onboarding flow and Bea's journey herself. We didn't invent the platform. We made hers real.

Merushri's own prototype: 'What is your Clarity Score?'

Bea is every person CareerBubble has worked with, drawn at 16, 18, 21, 23 and 25. The site's journeys follow her.

posts for her instagram

Carousels for @yourcareerbubble, with her wordmark in the same place on every slide, and the brand kit behind them.

skills

6 slides

Why being good at one thing is a risk, and the skills to stack instead.

  1. Skills, the cover: 'The riskiest career move you can make!' over a photo of Merushri under a street of hanging umbrellas.
  2. 'Being good at one thing is one of the riskiest career moves you can make right now.'
  3. 'You need a skill stack. Your soft skills are that stack.'
  4. 'You should be able to do these 4 things': think creatively, communicate clearly, work with others, adapt quickly.
  5. 'AI can automate the task. It can't automate you.'
  6. 'Don't just learn more. Learn differently.' on her blue.

baking

6 slides

Merushri on the bakery she ran at 19, and what it taught her about work.

  1. Baking, the cover: 'What my bakery taught me at 19', Merushri with a doughnut in front of the word bakery.
  2. 'Be like your ingredients. You don't need to be one thing.'
  3. 'Step outside the box': asked to copy someone's cake designs, she made her own instead.
  4. 'Let the work teach you. I didn't know I was learning to run a business. I thought I was just baking.'
  5. 'Things end and it's okay! The bakery ended when my degree called. Endings aren't failures.'
  6. 'So here's my question for you: you already have ingredients. What are you making?'

year one

2 slides, one heading

From her first-anniversary post. The heading runs across both slides, so they stay together.

  1. Two slides from her first-anniversary post under one heading, 'Year 1 (in a nutshell)': mentored students, worked with startups, LinkedIn and her newsletter, IMPA secretary, communities.

the brand kit

palette · print · business card

Her colours, type and pattern, set out around the logo she already had, then tried on print and a business card.

  1. Her brand kit: the ü mark, yellow #FFE100, light blue #F1F3FF, blue #2C4DD9 and black, Manrope and Poppins, and a doodle pattern.
  2. The kit on print mock-ups: a roll-up banner, balloons and folders in her blue.

what's next

she sketched the next one on a whiteboard

In September, Merushri planned her next site herself: new lines, programs for individuals and for organisations, a new form. We had a working preview a week later. It isn't live yet.
